Growing up, music was ever-present in Lucas' family. With a father and a brother who are songwriters and guitar players, it was only natural that he would follow in their footsteps.
Lucas was a choir-boy for a good portion of his academic career and then joined the school orchestra to learn guitar. Combining his singing experience with instrumentation led Lucas to songwriting. Teaching himself how to play a variety of instruments and different styles, Lucas' influences are widespread and his repertoire spans multiple genres.
